The number of reluctant writers has increased across year levels. As part of our working on integration across the curriculum with ICT, it is an opportunity to see if we can engage these reluctant students.

I feel that the use of ICT in classrooms has improved greatly since being on the cluster. I would like to see regular use of ICT on a daily basis in ALL rooms. I propose to get laptops into classrooms on a regular basis. I am looking at timetables for scheduled ICT slots where students set up and support teachers. This will require me to train monitors that are competent, confident and responsible . These children will be the motivators of using and integrating ICT in classrooms.
I will be reflecting on my progress in my blog. http://inspirationfrombridget.blogspot.com/

This inquiry is an investigation into whether using Year 1 and 2 children to support their peers and teacher in eLearning, has a positive effect on their own and others' development of skills and confidence. The work that we do together will be added to a Digikidz Blog so that it may be shared. I then wish to look at the effects this form of peer support in eLearning has on child and teacher engagement, participation and increase in integration of ICTs in the classroom to support learning across the Curriculum.
